My favourite ted talk was a tie between the "Your body is my canvas" and "to this day". Overall I thought all the ted talks were interesting and well done. The ones that really stood out to me are the ones listed above. If i had to pick one overall i would chose the "your body is my canvas". Why? Because instantly after beginning the video I was fully captivated. I thought her story was very interesting and grabbed audiences right away after showing her first painting. Most people would just look at the painting and think that its on canvas but she encourages the audience to look a little closer and soon after explains that instead of painting their portraits on canvas or paper she would paint directly on the person and from any angle the painting would look 2 dimensional . She had a dream of moving to Washington dc, and starting a desk job in political science but was thrown a complete curve ball when she figured out that she loved to paint and truly did have a talent. She would start out painting on fruit and eggs and bacon and trying to make the real food look fake which i personally thought was awesome. Truly awe inspiring. And i thought it was inspirational to show people that life can take you anywhere and even though you may have a plan, you never know what can happen.
